"Homer Austin Winans, 88, the last member of the family of Homer and Mary Winans, died Monday morning at his home in Ellsworth twp., after a 3-day illness of infirmities. He was born in Ellsworth township on April 4, 1854, and spent his entire life there as a farmer. He leaves two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home in Canfield."
