HOMER V. JACKSON Homer V. Jackson, 86, of Big Springs, was dead on arrival at the Calhoun General hospital in Grantsville Wednesday morning.

He was born in Calhoun county, son of the late William H. and Susie Bland Jackson. He was a retired construction engineer, member of Eureka lodge No. 40, A. F. and A. M. of Grantsville, Scottish Rite Bodies and Beni Kedem Temple of the Shrine, Charleston, and the Grantsville IOOF.

He is survived by his widow, Florence Marshall Jackson; a foster-son, Charles Randolph of Wheeling; two brothers, Leo of Oak Hill and Carl of Akron, O.; and three sisters, Clara Dibble and Perie Farmer of Goshen, O., and Mildred Bush of Spencer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, with burial in the Nobe Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Masonic rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
