- I believe that this man's name is probably Hiram Harrison Dugger. He shows up in the 1860 Wayne Co. census as Hiram H. Dugger, and the 1870 Wayne Co. census as Harrison Dugger. It's probably he (as Harrison Dugger) that acted as witness to his brother William M. Dugger's wedding on 29 JAN 1875, a copy of which I uploaded on the family page for William Dugger & Mary Lair, my Great grandparents. If I'm correct, he died sometime after 1875. In my family it was very common to go by one's middle name. As example, his brother, my Great Uncle, whom I knew as a child, went by Cosby Dugger - his full name was Dolphus Cosby Dugger. My Grandfather, went either by Clayton Dugger or 'Lysses Dugger - his full name being Ulysses Clayton Dugger. - Kevin Dugger
