Henrietta (Hinny) Bowens: Biographical Information

Henrietta Bowens was the daughter of Caesar Bowens and Ellen Unknown. Caesar Bowens was formerly enslaved on Drayton Hall Plantation on the Ashley River, St. Andrews Parish, Charleston, South Carolina.

Henrietta was listed as Hinny in Caesar and Ellen's household in the 1900 Federal Census. Bowens descendants have identified Hinny as Henrietta. Their household in 1900 was:
