Herman Ledeboer Laid At Rest. Prinsburg Resident Passes Away At Age of Sixty-Eight. Funeral services for the late Herman Ledeboer were held Monday afternoon, Jan. 27 at 12:30 at the Ledeboer home and at one o'clock at the Prinsburg Christian Reformed church. Rev. William Terpsma had charge of the services. Herman Vander Bill, E. Braker, Otto De Vries, H. Post, William Roelofs, Sr., were pallbearers. Burial took place at the township cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, two sons, Garrit and Albert, seven daughters, Mattie (Mrs. Frank Marcus), Etta (Mrs. Benjamin L. Boersma), Alice (Mrs. Jerry Bonnema), Jennie (Mrs. Trieko Slagter), Grace (Mrs. Garrit Roelofs) and Katie (Mrs. Henry Mulder), all living in this vicinity, and Nellie (Mrs. Lawernce Van Den Einde) of Roseland, 45 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his aged mother-in-law, Mrs A. K. Kleinhuizen Sr., one brother Garrit Ledeboer of Pease, one sister Mrs. John Bosch of Willmar and a very large circle of other relatives and friends. One son, Henry, preceded him in death six years ago on Jan. 27. Relatives and friends from a distance attending the funeral were, Mr. and Mrs. Garrit H. Ledeboer, Mrs. Albert Hubers and Henry Hubers of Pease, Mrs. Henry Stob of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bruns and Mrs. John Bosch of Willmar. Mr. Ledeboer had attained the age of 68 years. He had been in good health until a year ago when he was troubled with gallstones, for which he was operated last week Tuesday morning at the Montevideo hospital. After a seemingly successful operation he passed from these earthly scenes to the life beyond Wednesday afternoon Jan. 22 at 1 o"clock. Mr. Ledeboer was well known in this vicinity having lived in Holland township, Kandiyohi county about 47 years. We extend sympathy to the bereaved. References
