Information on Henry Rush

From "Greenbrier County West Virginia Family Heritage, 1997", pg. 159:

Parents of George N. Rush: Henry Eidson Rush, a tailor, born 1808 and Mary Jane Gordon of Augusta County who moved to Bath County. Mary Jane's parents: Thomas Gordon, Jr. and Catherine Davis. Parents of Thomas: Thomas Gordon, Sr. and Sarah Poage, Augusta County.

Parents of Henry Eidson Rush: Peter Rush and Barbara Hanger of Augusta County. Peter's parents: Johann Karl Risch, who came to Pennsylvania in 1746, married Anna Elizabeth Suess, settled in Rockingham County, changing his name to Charles Rush. Karl's family home was in Idar Oberstein, Germany.
