Early Land Acquisition in Augusta County, VA

Acquisition of Land from Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys:


  • Henry Creybill, assignee of Henry Miller; 8 Dec. 1749 - 16 Mar. 1749/50; 205 acres; Henry Miller requests survey of waste land where he lives on North River of Shannandoah, bought of Wm. McKenny & within Hites claim. (Note: Henry Miller's request signed). Chain Carriers - Christian Wallter & Frederick Dillow. Martin Funk present on survey. Surv. George Byrne.
