  4. *BEEKMAN, Henry J. age 82 of Midland Park, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the
    Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. Henry was born in Midland Park on February 20, 1926. He
    was a Pumping Station Operator with the Ridgewood Water Dept for 25 years before his retirement.
    Henry served his country in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II, and was
    a member of the Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. In his early career Henry was employed by
    Darling Interior Decorators of Ridgewood. Surviving is his daughter Ruth A. and her husband Dr.
    Steven Hutt of Waldwick, and his son William J. Beekman and his wife Donna of Mahwah. Henry
    also leaves his five grandchildren Drew Henry Bagin, Allison Bagin, Billy, Jake and Ashley Beekman
    and his sisters, Grace Tanis and Lillian DeBoer. He was pre­deceased by his wife Ruth (Schaper) in
    2002 and his brothers Lambert and Ryer Beekman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28,
    2008 at 9:45 am from the Faith Reformed Church, 95 Prospect St., Midland Park, NJ. Interment will
    follow in the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood. Visiting is Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at
    the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.. In lieu of flowers
    memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Avenue,
