Died during the Indian attack at Medfield where he was killed at his doorway. Lt. Adams was appointed clerk of writs at Braintree, Nov. 4, 1646 but removed to Medfield about 1650 where he was prominent in town affairs. His first three children were born in Braintree, the others at Medfield where his descendants resided.
