HENRY ROZEBOOM ACCIDENTLY DROWNED.

Henry Rozeboom living three miles north and one and one half miles east of Rock Valley was accidently drowned on Saturday of last week.

As near as we can learn it was the custom of Mr. Rozeboom to cross the river each day at this place to get his cows ad on last Saturday rnorning again attempted to cross the river which was much deeper than for common.

Mrs. Rozeboom saw the horse returning with the saddle turned. She saw Arty Chas. Walhoff of Rock Valley passing and to him stated the circumstances.

Mr. Walhoff gave the alarm. A large crowd soon arrived and searched faithfully until four in the afternoon when the body was found in a whirlpool about eighty rods down the river.

Mrs. Rozeboom will be remembered here as Miss Jennie Terpstra. She is a niece of E. Marra of Orange City. While here her occupation was that of a seamstress. Mrs. Rozeboom has the sympathy of all of her accqainance in this her sad bereavement.
