EDEN Helen Elizabeth Rowsey Jeffries, 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at First Baptist Church of Draper. Burial will be in Dan View Cemetery.

Born in Danville, Va., she lived all her life at 1407 East Meadow Road. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Esmal Jeffries; and a sister, Nona Vestine Rowsey Denny.

She retired from Dan River Mills with 42 years service and was a member of the 25-Year Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Draper for 48 years.

She is survived by one son, Jerald Leonard Jeffries; daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn; two grandsons, Jamey Jeffries and wife, Michele, Christopher Jeffries and wife, Wendy; and four great-grandchildren, Paul, Olivia, Alex and Levi.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Reynolds Funeral Service and other times at 1407 East Meadow Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Draper, 1017 Fieldcrest Road, Eden.
