Harvey William Grove was born in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois to John Franklin Grove and Elizabeth (Severns).

He had various jobs, he worked for the Railroad, like other members of his family. He also was a used car salesman.

When the Great Depression started to effect Wyoming (about 2 years after the crash) he left his wife, and three children in Wyoming, and later is found living in North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California near his parents.

After the Great Depression for some unknown reason he went by the name of E S Jones. On his death certificate it lists both names. It caused some problems for his wife, Fanny Malinda Williams after his death.

I have never heard of or found any record of a divorce, or any other spouse for Harvey Grove.
