    Cambridge Man, Known Widely in Furniture Field, Dies at 67. - Cambridge City. - Harry F. Hall, a former president of the National Wholesale Furniture Salesmen's Association, died at noon Thursday. He was 67 years old. His home was at Dale avenue and Delaware street here. Operator of an insurance agency in Dublin after he left the furniture field and until his retirement, Hall was a native of Redkey. However, he had spent his early life in Dublin and Cambridge City until he left Wayne county in 1914. His selection as president of the national salesmen's association came in January 1953 at a trade meeting in Chicago. As president, he headed an organization of about 5,000 wholesale furniture salesmen. The salesmen's association is the parent body for 31 regional clubs throughout the United States and is one of the largest trade organizations in the country. Until he left the furniture field, Hall was eastern sales representative of the Paoli chair company for more than 20 years. He maintained offices in the New York Furniture exchange. Through his own sales organization, Hall handled the eastern sales for the Keller Manufacturing company of Corydon, and the Moosehead Manufacturing company of Monson, Maine.

    Returned in 1953 - Hall returned to Wayne county in 1953 and opened the Harry Hall Insurance agency at Dublin, where he had lived as a boy and where he had attended the old Dublin High School. He operated that business until his retirement. The son of the late O.D. And Mrs. Alice M. Hall, Harry Franklin Hall was born in Redkey but came to Dublin with his family as a small boy. He worked with his father in the Hall Mercantile company at Cambridge City before leaving this area. His widow is the former Miss Lucile Petro of Cambridge City. Hall was a member of the Methodist church at Dublin, Dearborn Lodge No 310, Free and Accepted Masons, at Chicago, and the Hartley Hills Country Club at Hagerstown. He was also a former president and honorary life member of the Furniture Manufacturing Representatives of New York City, in addition to his presidency of the national salesmen's organization. Other Affiliates. He was a former member of numerous other furniture trade organizations in the east and, interested in New York charitable organizations, he was a former director of the New York Philanthropic council. He also had belonged to the Furniture Club of America, at Chicago, and the Columbia club, in Indianapolis. He was a former president of the Cambridge City Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Kiwanis club here. Survivors, in addition to the widow, include two daughters, Mrs. E.B. Lauback, of Easton, Pa., and Mrs. R.D. Olmstead, Chappaqua, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Everett Money of Dublin and one step-sister, Mrs. Errett Walters, also of Dublin; his stepmother, Mrs O.D.Hall of Dublin, and six grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Howard and Son funeral home here. Rev. Frank Guyatt of Dublin will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
