Abstract:
Harriet Martin Spilman born 21 March 1848 in Ohio; died 6 March 1922 at McPherson, after 10 days of paralysis. She married 31 Dec. 1877, to Alex C. Spilman. She was a member of the Presbyterian church about the last 25 years.
Preceded by son, Alfred. Survived by daughter, Miss Mignonette (Denton, Texas); daughter, Miss Marion (McPherson); son, C. Clay Spilman (Toledo, Ohio); step-daughter, Mrs. Jacobson (Roxbury); step-son, James Spilman (Roxbury); 2 brothers and sisters, and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services at her home, Wed. 8 March 1922. Interment in McPherson Cemetery.
