1968 - Harold's memorial inscription, from a transcription made by the Women's Institute, reads: In/ loving memory of/ HAROLD JOHN/ SARE/ born 14th July 1906/ died 24th Aug 1968/ Resting where no shadows fall.

The stone is granite with black lettering. There is also a small vase which is inscribed: In loving memory of/ HAROLD JOHN SARE/ 1906 - 1968.
