Parentage

Some researchers have placed Griselda Humphries as a daughter of Uriah Humphries (1740-1817), but Griselda appears to have been several years before Uriah was married in abt. 1769, making this problematic. In addition, neither Griselda nor her husband John Persinger are listed in the estate records of Uriah Humphries, also casting doubt upon this relationship. Additional research is necessary.
