    'MARRIAGE: ... (2) In April 1635 Grace Chetwood [Bulkeley Gen 58, ...], "a virtuous daughter of Sir Richard Chetwood" and Dorothy Needham [Magnalia 1:403]. She was born about 1602 (aged 33 or 30 in 1635 [Hotten 59, 76]) and died at New London 21 April 1669 ...'
    'On 13 April 1635, "Grace Bewlie," aged 30, and "Jo[hn] Backley," aged 15, were enrolled at London as passengers for New England on the Susan & Ellen [Hotten 59]. ... On 8 May 1635, "Grace Bulkley," aged 33, was enrolled at London as a passenger for New England on the Elizabeth & Ann [Hotten 76]. ... No doubt the long drawn out enrollments and the lack of effort to standardize spelling of the names were reflections of the family's attempt to board the ship without being apprehended.'
