CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: Admitted to Roxbury church in 1635 as member #151 ("Giles Paison, a single man. He married our sister Elizabeth Dowell") [RChR 82]. On 14 January 1671/2, "our brother Giles Pason was elected & called to the office of a Deacon & the Sabbath following [21 January 1671/2] he was solemnly ordained by prayer and imposition of the hands of the Elders" [RChR 210].
FREEMAN: 18 April 1637 (sixth in a sequence of six Roxbury men) [MBCR 1:373].
BIRTH: Baptized Nazeing, Essex, 14 May 1609 (aged 26 on 3 April 1635 [Hotten 46]; d. 28 January 1688/9, aged 78).
