    In Milton, Rock Co., Wisconsin, August 25, 1844, Dea. George Stillman, in the 84th year of his age. Mr. Stillman embraced religion in early life, and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church in Hopkinton, R.I. He afterwards removed to Berlin, Rensselaer Co., N. Y., became an active member of the church in that place, and continued so until he removed to Alfred, Allegany Co., N. Y. He officiated as Deacon and Moderator of the 1st Church in Alfred from its organization until his recent removal to Milton, Wisconsin, where he ended his pilgrimage, and was gathered home to his Saviour, like a shock of corn fully ripe. He was a man much esteemed by all who knew him, and has left a numerous family and a large circle of friends to mourn his death.
