Information on George Pearis

He had a nephew named Jesse Pepper who left a family letter in Giles county he stated his Uncle was George Parris his white wife was Sarah Pepper daughter of Dr Pepper and Sallie Patterson. The Chowan tribe, the Hyter family left a letter stating George Pearis Indian Wife was Elizabeth Hyter daughter of King Thomas Hyter of the chowanoke tribe NC. He had 2 Indian daughters Sarah whom married Sgt George T Teator on Col Byrds Expedition. A younger daughter named Rhoda whom married a New York Palatine Henry Hohimer. His white children were Robert Pearis and Capt George Pearis founder of Pearisburg Giles county, There was a 3rd daughter named Christian who married a Choctow agent named Freeman Jones
