The move to Missouri was after 1775, for in a letter to "Col. Moses H. McCue," dated "Nov. 21. 75," Maj. J. Marshall McCue writes: "Aunt Peggy and aunt Sally, both in good health. * * * Thos. Barry and wife spent a night with us this summer, both deaf but tolerably well." Another letter from Major McCue, dated "Feb. 25, 1877," states that Geo. Moffett Miller had gone to see his mother in Daviess county, Mo. ...
