Facts and Events
In 1709 he bought of William Ilsley a riverside lot on the Merrimae and probably lived in that part of Newbury. He was a lieutenant in the militia. His name occurs among the proprietors of Boseawen, N.H. Sometime after the birth of his children he removed to Haverhill and Plaistow, N. H. He died 2 July 1760. In his will dated 4 April, 1754, he calls himself yeoman, gives five shillings to his sons Thomas, George, and Ezekiel, who had already received their part of his estate by deeds of gift, his household goods to his daughter Edna Ela, and his dwelling-house to his son Joseph, who is appointed executor.
