Obituary was copied from Dutch's Find-a-Grave memorial page: "George (Dutch) Jackson, aged 68, died at 1:55 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Willis of Davisville, W.Va. Born in Wood county, Mr. Jackson had lived the greater part of his life in and near the Kanawha Station community. He had made his home for the past three years with Mr. and Mrs. Willis. He is survived by two sons, Edward of California and Glenwood of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, J.B. Jackson of Akron, Ohio, and W.L. Jackson of Parkersburg; four sisters, Mrs. B.F. Cooper, Mrs. J.C. Mendenhall and Mrs. J.W. Birch, all of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Guy Busch of Middleport, Ohio. The body was removed to the Leavitt funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Parkersburg News, Friday, 4 October 1940, pg. 24."
