Obituary Scrapbook, p.59CIRCLEVILLE--Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the L. D. S. chapelfor George Butler Horton, promiennt southern Utah sheep and cattle man, whodied at his home here of a heart ailment Wednesday. Burial was in the Circleville cemetery. Mr. Horton was born September 7, 1869, at Greenville, Utah, a son of Georgeand Sarah Butler Horton. He came to Circleville 40 years ago, marrying Mary M. Smith here September 22, 1902. He was active in politics and civic affairs of this county and the southernpart of the state up until the time of his illness several months ago.During the World war he served as a member of the draft board, and had been a Piute county school trusteAt the time of his death Mr. Horton was president of the Circleville Irrigation company. He is survived by his widow and six sons and daughters, Garold, William A., Geraldine Bertha and ***missing text*** References
