    Captain George Drake, born ca 1650, married in 1677 Mary Oliver of Elizabethtown, New Jersey. He was a useful public servant of the township and colony; appointed supervisor of many local projects and served as a legislator in the colonial general assembly in 1684 and after. He died November 1710 in Middlesex County, New Jersey
