Will of George Dickey
In the name of God, Amen.
I George Dickey being very sick but in good perfict memorey and considering my age and frailty of body not knowing what moant it may pleais the allmighty and great God to call me from time to ternity I think it Expedient Order my Estate of affirs as follows:
And first of all I Commend my Soul unto Almighty God and my Body to the Dust to be Desently buried.
As to the Disposing of my Goods and afects I leve and bequeath to my eldest Son James thirteen pence & to my Second son William thirteen pence and to my Son John thirteen pence and to my Eldest Daughter Sarah thirteen Pence, and to my Daughter Sheusana thirteen pence and to my Daughter Easther thirteen pence Allso I leve and bequeath to my youngest Daughter Elezabath full sums of twenty pounds Current money of pensilvia [sic, s'b Pennsylvania] to be paid out of ye Affects ~
And after all Debts is Claered I Leve and bequath to my youngest son Moses the tow [two] parts and to my Dear wife the third part
Also I leve my Dear Wife and Son Moses Sole Executors and Administrators of the hole Estate or Affaers aforesaid this given under my hand as my Last Will and test this 15th Day of September 1748 and I Desire Joseph Walker to be over Seer of ye said affris [affairs].
As Witness my hand and Seal this 15th Day of September 1748 note before Sining that Sd. money is to be pd. to sd. Elizebath when shee Coms to Age.

Personally appeared Margaret Browne one of the Witnesses to the within Will and Solemnly Affirmed that she was present and saw and heard George Dickey the Testator Sign Seal Publish and Declare the same as his last Will & Testament and that at the doing thereof he was of sound and disposing Mind & Memory to the best of her knowledge 10th Nov: 1748.
