"27. 'Elder' George⁴ Clark (George,³ George,² George¹), baptized at Milford, Conn., Oct. 12, 1707, died Sept. 28, 1754, in his 47th year [T. S., Milford]; … He was graduated at Yale College, 1726; was called 'Elder' on his gravestone. Administration on the estate of Mr. George Clark, Jr., of Milford, was granted to his widow Abigail, in December, 1754. The estate proved insolvent. [N. H. P. 8:392.]"
