Mid-1950's State Senator in Iowa and served in numerous county and state political capacities. Chairman of Warren County, IA AAA for many years.Data from daughter, Kay. Family called him either George Donald, Donald, or G.D. He was honored as an Iowa Master Farmer. In 1901 Geo. and parents moved to Lincoln Twp. of Warren Co., and he lived on the same farm for 80 yrs. As a teenager he built a dairy barn for the family farm.
