    Several sources, including Savage, say that Abigail is the daughter of George Alexander & Susanna Sage(or Savage). He is a native of Stirling, Scotland & Susanna prob from Somerset, England. They married 18 Mar 1644 in Windsor, Hartford, CT. At least 7 children are attributed to this couple, John, an infant that died, Abigail, Mary, Daniel, Nathaniel, & Sarah. George left Windsor and removed to Northampton where he died in 1703.

    The son, John b.1645, marrried Sarah Gaylord; they had son Joseph b. 1681 who married Margaret Mattoon; They had son John who married Bathsheba Sawtell. They had son Nathaniel b.1743, fought in Rev War, has a pension file & married Eunice Hitchock. One of their children was Anna Alexander b. 1786 who marrried William Henry. A daughter Margaret Henry m. Thomas B.Doxey. This line leads to Lustfield family.
