__________________________ [edit] OverviewGabriel Walker appears in two records in Old Chester County during the period from 1730 to 1740. In the first record he appears in the 173X tax assessment list for Londonderry Township. He wrote his will in early October of 1739, dying before late October when his will was probated. His will was filed in Goshen Township. This may indicate that while he owned land in Londonderry (hence appeared on its tax records) he actually lived in Goshen. Gabriel's will identifies Daughters: Jane, Mary, Rebecca Sons: John, Joseph, James, Nathaniel, Andrew and Isaac. If we assume that the youngest child was an infant, and that two years elapsed between births, then we get a DOM of 19 years precedding his death, or in 1719. Assuming he married at age 20, his DOB could have been no later than 1699, or for rounding purposes no later than 1700.
