Obituary FRIEND A. PATCH, MECOSTA RESIDENT, TAKEN BY DEATH. Was Proprietor of Restaurant in Mecosta

 Mecosta, Oct 3 - Friend A. Patch, 73, died at his home here Sunday afternoon after a long period of ill health.  Mr. Patch had suffered with a heart ailment for several months.
 He was born at Bloomer Center, near Carson City, but had been a resident of Mecosta for over 36 years.  He had been proprietor of a restaurant here for many years.
 He is survived by his wife, one son, Clyde Patch, of Gaylord, and his 93-year-old mother.  He is also survived by two step-children and five grandchildren.
 Although definite arrangements for funeral services have not been completed it is believed the funeral will be held at the home here and the body will be taken to Bloomer Center for interment.
