    Freeman J. Mullet, age 81, of Deal Rd, Gambier, OH died on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on February 27, 1933 in Geauga County to John and Catherine (Yoder) Mullet.

    He was married to Ada Mae (Troyer) Mullet for 62 years, who survives. In addition to his wife, Ada, he has one son, William (Rebecca) Mullet of McConnelsville, OH; four daughters, Betty (Mark) Yoder of Sugarcreek, OH, Mary Alice Mullet of Gambier, OH, Minerva (David) Byler of Fairview, MO, and Miriam (Nathan) Hostetler of Circleville, OH; 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Detweiler; three sisters-in-law, Emma Mullet, Fannie Mullet, and Anna Mullet; and a brother-in-law, Dave Byler.

    Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and 4 sisters.

    The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Ohio Road, Utica. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the church with Pastor Alan Byler officiating. Burial will follow in the Martinsburg Amish Cemetery on Divan Road.
