FREDRICK migrated to America with his mother, brother, and probably 3 sisters, in 1836 at about 9 years old; his father having died in the Palatinate. In 1848 Fredrick (alone, or was he in the Daniel Lower group?) migrated to Wabash County, Indiana. His brother Peter Jacob (and his wife and 2 sons) migrated to Wabash County in 1851. The mother (and 1 daughter) remained in Tuscarawas County, died there, and was buried there.

Fredrick was one of the 18 (or 21?) founders of St. Peter's Church in Urbana, Indiana.
