    [Page 369] In the name of God, Amen, November 19, 1712. I, FREDERICK HENDRICKSEN V AN LEAU, of Jamaica, in Queens County, Gentleman, being weak in body. I le ave the use of all my estate, real and personal, to my wife Dinah, whi ch is not already given to my sons by deed of sale, also £150, and s he is to have an equal proportion with my daughters in all my estat e, to be at her disposal, "but among my children." And she shall p ay to my daughters, Greta, Dinah, Elizabeth, and Analche, when they are ma rried, or of age, equal to what my daughter Mary Probasco, hath receive d. After my wife's decease my house and lands and meadows and rights a re to be sold at vendue among my children. If my wife should die befo re my youngest daughter is capable of earning her own living, "somethi ng is to be allowed for her bringing up." If either of my sons, John, Henr y, and Frederick, should die without issue, the rest shall inherit his sha re. As I have given to my son Frederick by deed, land in the Jerseys I lea ve him, £5, "and when he shall come of
    [Page 370]age to work upon his land in ye Jerseys, my son Henry is to allow him a ye ar's board if he is single." My estate in Holland, if ever it be obtaine d, is to be divided among my children.
