Born in San Jose, Cal. in 1883; son of Carlton and Mary Estella (Samuels) Seaver. Attended public schools of Claremont, Cal.; public and high schools of Pomona, Cal.; graduated from Pomona College, B.S., 1905; attended Law School of Harvard Univ., 1906-07; admitted to bar of Cal. in 1906; engaged in practice of law alone, 1908-11; formed partnership with brother, Byron D. Seaver, in 1911. Atty. for Mutual Building & Loan Assn. of Pomona, Cal.; Municipal Corporation of Lordsburg, Cal.; Western Precipitation Co. of Los Angeles; atty. and dir. Wayside Press of Los Angeles; secy, Home Printing Co.; vice-pres. C. Seaver Co.: pres. Pomona College Alumni Assn. Member N. G. C.; delegate to Republican conventions (assembly, District and County); Board of Freeholders for drafting Los Angeles County Charter, 1912.
