    'FRANCIS, baptized 30 April 1593 Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. In the parish register it is recorded as "George son of Frauncis Kempton." This was the only mention of a Francis as an adult and it probably meant to say, "Francis son of George Kempton." '
