• Page 418.--30th May, 1765. Andrew Erwin's will, farmer--To wife Ann, to son Francis (unmarried), executors, entire estate. Teste: Andw. Scott, Saml. Corry, Benj. Erwin. Brother Edward and brother Francis to be overseers. Proved, 15th October, 1765, by Scott and Erwin. Executors qualify (Ann's mark ), with John King, Samuel Patterson. (Note: Francis Erwin, son of Andrew and Ann Erwin was unmarried in 1765, when his father wrote his will, but he married Elizabeth Clements, daughter of Jacob and Mary Jane (Campbell) Clements shortly thereafter in 1767).
