            Public member trees on ancestry.com say that Florence was born on August 15, 1860 in Union County, Georgia. This fits with the census records that put her birth assometime around the year 1860 in Georgia. According to Lumpkin County, Georgia marriage records she married John N. Gaddis on February 20, 1879 in Lumpkin County.[1]In 1880,[2]1900[3]and 1910,[4]she and John were living in Hightower, Lumpkin County, Georgia. In 1920[5] they had moved to Mill Creek, still in Lumpkin County, and in 1930[6]Florence was living as a widow with her son George in Gainesville, Hall County,Georgia. Ancestry.com trees say that she died on May 13, 1949 in Hall County,Georgia, but again, we do not have any sources that confirm that. Extensive research was not done on Florence as she is not a direct ancestor.
