MRS. FLORENCE STANTON
Services for Mrs. Florence Stanton, 40, of 3534 South Barr Street, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, the Rev. Carl Adams officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stanton died at 10:20 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been in poor health for several months. A member of Simpson Methodist Church and the Auxilary to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Mrs. Stanton was also an employe[e] of the Wayne Pump Company.
Surviving are two sons, Robert and Donald, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Steve K. Suchonic, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Betty Payne, Fort Wayne; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ashton, Venedocia, O.; four brothers, Paul Ashton, Venedocia, Robert, Fort Wayne, and Floyd and Ray, both of Indianpolis; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Ulrick [sic], Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Pauline Patterson, Indianapolis, and two grandchildren.
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Eagles will meet at the funeral home at 8 p.m. today. Friends may call there after 7 p.m.
