New Knoxville-May 31-Mrs. Flora S. Katterheinrich, wife of Wesley F. Katterheinrich, died at 7:45 o'clock last evening at her home three and a half miles east of New Knoxville after having been seriously ill of heart disease for four and a half months. She had been in ailing health for several years. She was 52 years, 2 months, 21 days old.

Mrs. Katterheinrich was the daughter of the late William and Maria Katterheinrich Settlage. She was born March 9, 1881, on a farm north of New Knoxville and was married on November 19, 1901 to Wesley F. Katterheinrich. In addition to her sorrowing husband, she is survived by five children: Mrs. Albin F. (Frances) Steinecker, Mrs. Ferd (Jennie) Meckstroth, New Knoxville, Mrs. Clem R.(Olga) Steinecker, Melvin and Byron Katterheinrich, at home. Three brothers and four sisters: August C. Settlage, Whittier, Calif., the Rev. Henry G. Settlage, Waukesa, Wis., William Settlage, near New Knoxville, Mrs. John F. Geiger, St. Marys, Mrs. Henry Eversman, near New Knoxville, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoge, Rochester, Ind., and Mrs. Lewis Wehmeyer, near New Bremen. There are four grandchildren. In addition to the family members, there are a great many friends.

She was a devoted member of the Methodist church at New Knoxville and was a member of the Ladies Aid society.

Funeral services are arranged for Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the house and 2 o'clock at the Methodist church with the Rev. A.G. Kluesner officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.

NEW KNOXVILLE, June 1 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Sophia Katterheinrich, R2, wife of Wesley Katterheinrich, who died at her home northeast of here Tuesday night, will be held in the First German M.E. church here at 2 p.m. tomorrow with Rev. J. C. Kluesner officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe cemetery.

Mrs. Katterheinrich was born here March 8, 1881, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Settlage. She was a member of the First German M. E. church and affiliated with the Ladies' Aid society.

Surviving are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. A. Stienecker and Mrs. Ferd Meckstroth, of here, and Mrs. C. C. Stienecker, at home; two sons, Myron and Melvin, also at home; her father, William Settlage, of near St. Marys; two brothers, August Settlage, of Whittier, Calif., and the Rev. Henry Settlage, of Waukesha, Wis., and four sisters, Mrs. Caroline Geiger, of St. Marys; Mrs. Anna Eversman of near New Bremen; Mrs. Elizabeth Hoge, of Rochester, Ind., and Mrs. Pauline Wehmeyer, of New Bremen.
