Found on Rootsweb.com Post: Hi Lee, I've been working on the CRANE family for awhile (my husbans side), his grandfather was Henry Oscar CRANE b. 22 Nov 1869 in GA, grandmother Fannie Jane KINDRED, b. 13 Sept 1881 in TX, married 21 Sept 1896 Indian Terrotory, OK they had 5 children, Jimmie 25 Aug 1898 (died as baby) Sarah Catherine b. 4 Feb 1900 Indian Nation, OK, Arthur Lee "Buddy" b. 22 July 1902 Checotah, OK, d. 19 Jan 1966, Jimmie Lee (husbands father) b. 29 Dec 1909 Checotah, OK d. 10 Dec 1979 Eufaula, OK and Jessie. At that time Creek Nation was in Checotah, Indian Territory, OK. but he was of Cherokee blood. Henry O. CRANE Cherokee Nation rolls, roll # 5478 dated 28 Aug 1900.
