ESTHER SULLIVAN was born on 14 Mar 1796 at Rowan County, North Carolina. She was the eighth of eleven children, six boys and five girls.

She married JOHN REICHARD, son of ABRAHAM REICHARD and MAGDELENA (MARY) LOTTIN, on 15 Aug 1815 at Rowan County, North Carolina, at the age of 19. They were the parents of nine children, five boys and four girls. She and JOHN REICHARD appeared on the census of 1850 at Davidson County, North Carolina. She and JOHN REICHARD appeared on the census of 1860 at Davidson County, North Carolina.

She died on 14 Jan 1863 at Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina, at age 66. She lived in North Carolina her entire life. Both the Reichard Family History and Emmanuel Church Cemetery Transcript state the the inscription on her tombstone lists her age as 66 yrs 11 mos, and that the dates are illegible. Her birth date is listed as 1796 in the Newsome GED and the Reichard Family History. This is reasonable given the date of her marriage and childrens birth. That means that her death year must be 1863, 66 years later. She was buried at Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina.
