Obituary contributed by Dede D. Holden: Services for Eron Wright Darsey will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from Webb Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Wayne Riley and the Rev. Hugh Foster officiating. Burial wil be in Magnolia Cemetery.. Mrs. Darsey, 84, a resident of Benchmark Health Care, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 1988, at the nursing center. She was a native of Choctaw County, Ala., and was a member of South Side Baptist Church, where she was a retired librarian. Survivors include a son, Tommy Darsey, Meridian; a sister, Virgie Ivy, Jackson, Ala.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at Webb Funeral Home. The family has requested that memorials be made to South Side Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas
