2012-obituary given to me by Theresa (Robinson) Gibson-Mr Ernest Sigler-Mr Ernest Ray"Ernie" Sigler, 56, of Brunswick, MD died Thursday, Nov 22, at his home after a long illness.

He was the husband of Mona Jones Sigler, whom he married May 12, 1964.

Born Oct 2, 1945, in Welch, WV, he was a son of Avelee (Stoneman) Sigler/Morgan of Charles Town, WV, and the late Earl Sigler.

Mr Sigler was a member of Brunswick Moose Lodge and the National Rifle Association.

He had worked 25 years in the construction business.

Mr Sigler enjoyed oil painting and collecting World War II memorabilia.

Surviving in addidtion to his wife and mother are one daughter, Trina (Sigler) Barnhouse and husband Todd Barnhouse of Burnswick; one granddaughter, Trisha Barnhouse of Brunswick; two brothers, James Sigler of Ranson, WV and John Wayne Morgan of West Chester, PA; and his mother-in-law, Naomi Jones of Brunswick.

Mr Sigler was preceeded in death by his stepfather, John Kay Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, Nov 23 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 32 Broadway, Lovettsville, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, Nov 24 with Mr Sigler's borther-in-law, Larry Baker, officiating.

Internment will be in Lovettsville Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick County Hospice
