Ephraim Wilson and Isabella to Sampson and George Mathews, £26, 200 acres in Beverley Manor; oaks in John Hutcheson's line, John Henderson's line, John Graham's corner, conveyed to Ephraim by Robert Beverley. [Note: the Indian troubles during this time period likely influenced Ephraim and Isabella to sell their land in Augusta County and move to a safer area].

  • Vol. 1 - MAY, 1767 (D). - Archer vs. Wilson.--Ephraim Wilson deposes, 10th April, 1766, in Augusta: That he went to William Wilson's, on Jackson's River, with Mr. John Archer in 1756 or 1757 John Warrick was at the house at the time and employed there.
  • Vol. 1 - NOVEMBER 22, 1768. - (48) Ephraim Wilson--witness from Pittsylvania.
  • Vol. 1 - JUNE, 1769 (B). - Sampson Mathews vs. John Archer.--Commission, 1768, to North Carolina, to take deposition of Ephraine Wilson.
