Footnote states that some of his sons took the name d'Emmanuel, and so did their descendants.

A note says "Et de sa femme en premieres nopus? avec Germain TERIO." They own 1 gun, 4 arpents of workable land, 14 horned animals, 21 sheep, and 8 pigs.

!CENSUS: 1698, Port Royal, Acadia, age 44 years. Living with wife Andre'e BRUN, age 52, and 6 children, age 12 to 25. Catherine, the oldest, is the last child of her first marriage. They have 25 cattle, 25 sheep, 6 pigs, 26 arpents, 2 fruit trees and 1 gun.
