Mrs. Emma Florence Jackson, 93, of Big Springs, died Tuesday evening at the Calhoun General Hospital following a long illness.

She was born in Calhoun County a daughter of the late Hamilton and Mary V. Marshall.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hettie Robinson of Jane Lew, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer V. Jackson; and adopted daughter, three brothers and three sisters.

Services were held Friday, 2 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating. Burial was in the Nobe Cemetery at Nobe W. Va.
