Swarthout; mother of Mrs. George Gartner, Bowling Green, Va.; sister of Mrs. Sotanley Geis of Laurel, Md., Edward Sakers of Dover, Del. Also surviving are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Swarthout rests at Gartner's Funeral Home, 316 E Diamond Ave., Gaithersburg, Md. Friends may call on Monday, October 12th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 1 p.m. from Grace Methodist Church, Gaithersburg. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery, Laurel, Md. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Montgomery County Cancer Fund.
