    Elmer C. Cooper, 84, Olympia, died Friday, Aug 28, 1992, in Evergreen Convalescent Center, Olympia.
    He was born May, 8, 1908, in Medina, N.D., to Daniel and Blanche (Peterson) Cooper. He was married to Hazel J. Hartse in 1935 in Glendive, Mont. Mr. Cooper was an Olympia resident for 42 years.
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Olympia.
    Surviving Mr. Cooper, besides his wife of Olympia, are a son, Richard, Olympia; two daughters, Lenice Huntley, Olympia, and Darlene House, Chehalis; also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Visitation hours are from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug 3-0, and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday in Olympic Funeral Home, Tumwater. The funeral service for Mr. Cooper will follow at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The Rev. Ted Kriefall of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in Olympic Memorial Gardens, Tumwater.
