1881 - Ellen was living with her father and step-mother in King William Lane, Pentney. Scholar, aged 14.

1891 - Working as a domestic nurse in the household of Arthur and Mary POWELL, London Cottage, Northwold, Norfolk. There are also 4 children, a cook, housemaid and groom. Aged 24.

1901 - With husband and 3 children at Diss Road, South Lopham. Aged 33.

1945 - Ellen is buried with her husband. The grave is with other SARE graves. Memorial inscription: Also his loving wife Ellen GRANT who passed away Feb. 8th 1945. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Prov. XXXI 28.
